As something of a follow-up to my article The integrity of Major League Baseball, and other such nonsense, I am giving you all an update on the Congressional hearing at which cheating faggots Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa, Jose Canseco, and Rafael Palmeiro testified about the use of steroids in baseball. And when I say testified, I mean they denied everything left and right while not even being able to look the interrogators in the face. But rather than picking on all four of these individuals, I've decided to do the fair thing and single out McGwire, mainly because he is the one who benefited most from the use of steroids. One thing to point out before I start, Canseco is at least enough of a man to admit that he used steroids when he was playing. So he was a cheating faggot, but at least he's a cheating faggot who came clean. That's a lot more than I can say about the rest of the cheaters.
So now for the lambasting of Mark McGwire: cheating faggot. Not only did McGwire not admit to taking steroids to the committee, he did it in such a way that couldn't have made him look more guilty. When asked if he ever took steroids, he refused to answer. So then the committee asked him if he was invoking his 5th Amendment right of no self-incrimination, to which he replied "I'm not here to talk about the past. I'm here to be positive about the subject."
?????????????????????????
Not here to talk about the past? Yes you are asshole! Nobody called you in to speak in front of the committee because they care if you're taking steroids now. Nobody cares what you're doing now. They want to know if the man who broke Roger Maris's home run record was able to do so by cheating. And then he said he only wanted to be positive about the subject. What is positive about cheating and not being man enough to admit it? God what a fuck. I positively hate him. How's that for positive? Or maybe he is positively the most prolific cheater in the history of baseball. Or maybe he positively deserves an ass-whooping. Fucking cheater.
And speaking of cheating, when asked if he thought using steroids was cheating, he replied "That's not for me to determine." Again, blatantly avoiding the question. When somebody asks you for your opinion, they mean they want your fucking opinion, whether you think you're qualified to answer or not. And let's just pretend for a second that it's not for McGwire to determine what is and is not cheating. Who is supposed to determine that? The commissioner, who hasn't done a God damn thing to stop steroid use?
Speaking of which, the punishment for first offense steroid users is either a ten-game suspension or a $10,000 fine, by far the most lenient punishment for steroid use in all of major sports. Ten games is nothing in the MLB. With 162 games a year, a ten game suspension is like an NFL player being suspended for one game. And ten thousand dollars is chump change to professional athletes. That's like a normal person getting a five dollar speeding ticket, big freakin deal. Oh but commissioner Bud Seling, who got torn a new asshole by the committee, insists that those punishments were the best he could do with the collective bargaining process. Here's a fun fact, the NBA and NFL both have the same labor negotiating to deal with and they were able to get much stricter steroid penalties. But maybe that's because the NFL and NBA don't like cheaters, unlike baseball, who never even had a testing or penalty policy for steroid use until last year, and that's because of heat from Congress and the media. God I hate baseball.
people agree that Mark McGwire is a cheating faggot and should have his ass positively kicked
