Since the presidential election at the beginning of this month, which I am proud to say I did NOT vote in, I have read many articles on the internet where people express concern that this country no longer feels like home to them. Apparently, some people are so concerned about it, they are considering emigrating to another country. Well, what the hell are you waiting for? Go!
This is another example of Randy's Law (people are fucking stupid), in action. These people are either too stupid to know that it doesn't really make a difference whether a Democrat or Republican is in power, or they are just pussies and sore losers. So Kerry lost and Bush, whom you think is the devil, won, big fucking deal. God, grow some balls and get over it already. It doesn't matter whether a Democrat or a Republican is in power. People seem to have this idea that the President has "let there be light" power. Our government doesn't work that way. Let me explain how our government works for those of you retards who apparently slept your way through government class in high school. We have three branches of government: the executive, legislative, and judicial branches. Then we have a system of what we call "checks and balances", whereby the branches of government can "check" the power of the other branches to prevent one individual or group from getting too powerful. For example if President Bush wants to pass a law allowing marriage between siblings, he can't just write the law himself. He has to go to Congress and suggest they pass such a law. Then Congress has to vote and pass the law. Then if somebody challenges the law in court, the Supreme Court can find the law unconstitutional. And if an amendment is being added to the Constitution, two thirds of all states must approve it. That is an awful lot of people who have to agree in order for anything to happen.
When you vote, you aren't voting for a candidate, you are voting for the candidate's party and the interest groups that fund that party. Candidates at the presidential level do not dare piss off their party, or they lose their party's support, and more importantly, their funding. If George Bush would have decided he supported gay rights, abortion, and higher taxes, he would have lost the Republican party's nomination. And the parties do whatever the interest groups that support them want. If a cigarette company is getting legislative pressure, they go to one of the major parties and "donate" a generous sum of money, and then if their party is elected, they "suggest" that the candidate whom they supported make legislation a little friendlier to them or allocate Federal moneys in ways condusive to their industry, such as subsidies for tobacco producers. You see how corruption works?
Then there's the jackasses who say "But Randy, the Republicans control the presidency, both houses of Congress, and most governorships, they're taking over." Oh my God, we're facing the next Nazi revolution. First of all, no major party is going to try to implement a major governmental change, because as I've explained previously, the process is far too long and cumbersome. Secondly, what exactly are the differences between Democrats and Republicans? Very few. If you asked a Democrat and a Republican how to run a government, they would answer 99 out of 100 questions exactly the same. Most of their "differences" are simple semantics. Of course there are some issues that concern people on which they do differ.
Let's examine the divisive issue of abortion first. Since the Roe vs. Wade verdict, abortion has been legal. There have been a few modifications, such as legal abortion methods and late term abortions, but abortion in and of itself is still legal. A woman who is a few months pregnant can go to a doctor and request an abortion. Now, feminist bitches always label every single election as "the most important election of your life" because if a bastard Republican is elected, abortion will be outlawed. That's funny because since abortion was pronounced legal, Reagan was president for eight years, George Bush Sr. was president for four, and Bush Jr. just got elected to a second term. That's five elections Republicans have won and abortion is still legal. Republicans were in control of the White House for twelve straight years and abortion is still legal. But of course the feminist bull dykes will say that if a Republican gets to appoint Supreme Court judges, they can overturn the Roe vs. Wade decision. What most retards don't understand about the Supreme Court is, they can't hear a case simply because they didn't like the verdict and want to overturn it. In order for the Supreme Court to hear a case, they must find that the lower court applied the law incorrectly or some part of the proceedings were incorrect. They can't just pick and choose issues they want to judge. And the Supreme Court is very unwilling to make a judgment on a divisive issue. Just recently they heard a suit brought by a father who objected to his daughter's school using the Pledge of Allegiance with the phrase "Under God". Rather than determine once and for all if the phrase "Under God" violates the separation of church and state clause of the Constitution, the Court ruled that the father could not bring such a suit to the courts because he was not his daughter's custodial parent, only her mother could bring such a suit against the school.
Another issue that supposedly Republicans and Democrats differ on is taxes. As it is, we are a borderline socialist country. We have one of the highest tax rates in the world for capitalist countries, and there are countries who call themselves socialist who have lower taxes than us. Democrats generally favor more taxes so they can support all their hippie causes, while Republicans try to keep taxes down, but still very high. Republicans also like to put in tax loopholes for their funding interest groups to take advantage of. Basically when it comes to taxes you have a choice between tree hugging hippies or greedy bastards. And in any case, unless you pull in over six figures a year, your taxes aren't affected hardly at all either way. It's the upper class whose tax rates are affected the most because they have the ability to pay.
So as you can see, it doesn't really matter one way or the other. If you still want to bitch and moan about how America doesn't seem like your home because you don't like Bush, well you're just a pussy. I think I should be in charge, but I'm not, so I don't piss and moan about how unfair the system is. You see, this is why Arnold should be president. If people complained about him being in office, he would just whip their ass
pussies are going to bitch and moan about how they want to move to another country until a Democrat is President again
